Cloud AI cannot see pages behind a login
Notion, Lark, Gmail, internal tools — cloud fetchers see a login wall. Once the extension is installed, Ganhuo AI reads the pages you are already signed into.
Modern web apps don't work with simple page fetches
Ganhuo Web reads pages after the browser has rendered them, providing more complete content than a basic web fetch.

Install the extension
One click via Chrome Web Store or Microsoft Edge Add-ons.

Enable in Ganhuo AI
Open Ganhuo AI and grant the extension permission for the current session.

Ganhuo AI reads the page you currently have open. Read-only — it does not click, type or change anything.

Page content stays off Ganhuo AI servers
The extension does not send page text or screenshots to servers operated by Ganhuo AI. Content first goes to the app on your computer; when a task uses a model, relevant content may be sent to the provider you selected.
You initiate every read
The extension processes the active page only when you initiate a read. It does not continuously scan tabs in the background.
Read-only by default
This release does not click, type, or modify pages. It only injects its own read-only content script. You can revoke access or remove the extension at any time.
Access stays visible
You can review the extension's access in your browser settings and remove it at any time.
Local storage
The extension only stores per-site consent and settings, on your machine. No page content, browsing history or personally identifiable information is stored.
Why these permissions
Each permission requested by the extension maps to a concrete capability — for store reviewers and for you.
host_permissions: <all_urls>Users invoke Ganhuo AI on whatever site they are currently viewing, so the extension cannot know in advance which hosts it will need access to. It does not crawl, scan or read pages in the background — it only reads the active tab when the user explicitly triggers a read.
tabsUsed to identify the active tab and route the read request to the correct page. Browsing history is not read.
scriptingUsed to inject a read-only content script into the active tab to extract page content. No remote code is executed.
offscreenUsed to run longer parsing tasks (article extraction, layout analysis) outside the MV3 service worker, which has a short lifetime and would otherwise interrupt extraction.
webNavigationUsed to wait until the page has finished loading before reading it, so the extension does not capture partially-rendered pages.
storageUsed to persist per-site consent and extension settings, locally on your machine. No page content or browsing history is stored.
